J.P. Kids

We offer children the best of two world's; freedom to make their own choices and to join in teacher-directed activities and projects.  It all looks and feels like play!  Our teachers choose materials and activities which help children learn through discovery rather than instruction.  We foster feelings of success by emphasizing doing - it's the process that's important, not the product.  We help children develop respect and positive feelings towards themselves and those around them.

Our staff has the education, training and experience to provide exceptional care and appropriate activities in the right environment.  The teachers join in play and projects with humor; patience and one mission; to make each child's experience positive and fulfilling.  They help children create feelings of competence and worth by nurturing each child's self-esteem and confidence.

We provide space that is comfortable, safe and inviting.  Children experience developmentally appropriate learning, play and social situations at JP Kids.  Children are free to work at the different learning centers individually or in small groups.  There is room in each class for children to make music, clatter and chatter, as well for the quieter pursuits of reading, solving a puzzle, drawing and painting.

JP Kids provides opportunities for age-appropriate physical play that releases the energies of the day.  Children love our outdoor play area, shaded by trees and dappled with sun.  Delightfully appointed with playground attractions, there is also space for kids to kick a ball or play in small or large groups.
